Poem[]
Life Judge
- In the first 300 years
- I walked through mortal world
- In the last 300 years
- I get tired of immortal life
- Now I have to find the girl
- To beg for eternal sleep
- To ask her for mercy
- To reach my last verdict
Item Descriptions[]
I'm pretty familiar with the hall where my father works. I used to sit beside the pillar watching them working
— Right and Wrong
I sneak out again and take out that strange paint canvas full of names and a magical writing brush.
— Purple Gold
On the stone bridge, I met a guy I saw last time. I bid him greetings, yet why he looks so painful?
— Golden Girdle
Weird! That man is so weird! He's asking me to change the verdict. But I really don't know how to do that!
— No Way Back
For such a sinful person like him, I granted him eternity. When we met again, shouldn't he at least thank me?
— Yin and Yang
I opened the scroll covered with names again. It's still the same except that man's name has gone.
— Life and Death
Or, is that the reason why my father scolded me last time? But he never tells me anything.
— Mist White Dragon
I shook my head to get rid of the questions. Let's just write something and have a nice day today.
— Soul Drainer
The dense fog is dispersing, the golden bell on my clothes rings joyfully just like what I feel now.
— Gold Bell Ring
Interpretation[]
The suit is about a girl, the daughter of the deity Yama who acts as the judge of life and death. She carries a canvas scroll with names over it. One day she sneaks out, only to come across a man who she had previously met. She had granted him immortality in the past due to his sinful nature, and he was back to beg for her to change his fate and let him die. It's said in the poem that he has been tired of immortal life for the past 300 years. The girl was filled with doubts, and was especially confused as to why he hadn't thanked her for granting him immortality, but decided to just ignore her questions.
