Early in the morning, she comes to the flower shop and hangs a welcome wreath around the doorknob.

Not having many customers, she sits by the window, with a cup and a book in hands, and scent of flowers in the air.

When she turns to page 101, the hanging wind chime jingles: a little customer entered the flower shop.

Holding a piggy bank, the customer looks like he's only 10. She puts down the book, bends down and gently greets him.

Interpretation[]
A woman working at a flower shop encounters a young boy, who attempts to purchase carnations and baby's breath for his mother. He gives the woman his piggy bank, which does not have enough money for the flowers, but, as she is touched by his filial love, she gives him the flowers at a discounted rate.
