Chapter Summary[]
Nikki, Momo, and Mela journey into the Pigeon Forest, the home of elves, assisted by an old friend of theirs, an elf named Sylver. They're on their way to find the Stele Forest, which they think might have a clue that would help their mission of crafting the relics of King Sayet. However, when Sylver goes missing and things don't seem quite right, Nikki and co. have to make some difficult decisions, such as choosing to follow a questionable creature to meet the mysterious Elaine in hopes that she might help them.
When they reach the lake in the center, Nikki sees her friends through the surface, and too late she realizes they aren't in the Pigeon Forest at all: they're in the underworld inhabited by Kindred on the other side of the lake. With their chances of escape looking slim to none, Prince Chloris must make a difficult decision that will change the fate of the Pigeon Forest and elves forever.
