(In the somber prison, the villagers are resting on wooden pallets. Hearing footsteps, they straighten up and look outside vigilantly.)
(When they make out Nikki's face, their eyes are instantly filled with hostility.)
Villager A: Of course, you're Queen Elle's lackey!
Villager B: All of you nobles are heartless!
(The villagers grow more and more indignant as they curse, some even spitting menacingly behind the iron bars.)
Sherry: Mind your manners. Her Majesty is only keeping you here temporarily to save you from the gutting knife of certain evil characters.
Villager A: Yeah, look at us. Aren't you ashamed of your flimsy, fancy excuse?
Villager C: It disgusts me! Can anyone be more evil than the Queen?
Nikki: Ahem, we've come to release you by order of the merciful Queen. Do not take our charity for granted.
Villager B: Oh, cut the farce, who knows what kind of trap you've set up for us this time?
Villager A: We never should have been punished for fighting against injustice anyway!
Villagers: We are innocent! We are innocent!
(The cries for justice echo throughout the prison.)
(The next day, Sherry sends soldiers to release the villagers. Rumors of the mistaken arrest and harsh treatment of civilians by the Queen can be heard everywhere in City Oren.)
(Carrying the Queen's order, Sherry finds Nikki and Momo.)
Nikki: Are you sure we should spread the rumors even further? The Queen's reputation is more and more tarnished among civilians. What if we can't salvage it?
Sherry: We should trust our Queen's decision. These rumors are insignificant in nature, but enough to stir public opinion. They make the perfect bait.
Sherry: We're confusing our enemies by distracting them with these stunts while executing our true plan discreetly. Only in this way can we turn things around.
Nikki: First we go with the flow, then expose our enemies' true colors?
Sherry: That’s right.
Momo: Praises of the Queen's resourcefulness are not exaggerated. Even I'm getting excited!
