Story: Ace once again enters into Elle's dream in the queen's room. The final battle of the Nine-Day War seems to be no different from the usual dreams, until she recognizes a familiar face in the audience.
Dialogue[]
- (Ace falls into Elle's dreamland again.)
- (This is the last battle of the Nine-Day War, and the last battle to decide the ownership of King Sayet's legacy.)
- (She recalls that it was a clear day in Rolterdan, but the bright sunlight did not light up Elle's heart. The gloomy sense has been etched in her memory for years to come.)
- (A new Samsara is unfolding, and tears well up in Ace's eyes again. She closes her eyes with her fists clench, trying to fight off the upsetting emotions.)
- (Suddenly, Ace feels a gentle hand on top of her head, which dispels the pain of helplessness. She opens her eyes, and sees a familiar elegant lady.)
- Ace: Mother!
- (With a tender smile on her face, the Pigeon Queen reaches out to touch her young daughter's long hair.)
- Queen: Ace, you've grown up. Just as you wished for as a child, you've become the knight you admire most.
- (Elle still lost to Nikki, who looks more dazzling. Ace instantly feels her sister's sadness.)
- (After the competition, the stage host, judges, all the contestants and the audience disperse, leaving only Ace and her mother in the empty venue.)
- (Elle stands alone on the small stage, as if she was trapped in an invisible cage.)
- (Ace rushes to the stage, along with her mother. This time, the scene doesn't go back to the beginning of the competition as before.)
- (Elle is stunned, clutching her box, and looking at her mother and sister standing in front of her.)
- Elle: Mother... I'm sorry I embarrassed you.
- Queen: Silly child, I'm happy to see you've grown up. This is just a little setback in your life.
- Elle: It's not like that. If I could be more powerful, the ending would not be the way it is now.
- Queen: Remember the story I told you as a child? The gods prepare tests for mortals in order to help them grow into mature human.
- Elle: But I... failed the gods...
- Queen: I know this competition means a lot to you, but you've done well enough. I'm so proud of you.
- Queen: The gods have foreseen this as well. When you look back someday, you won't see it as a huge barrier, but just a small ditch you accidentally fell into.
- Elle: Mother...
- Queen: Move on and go forward in the direction of the gods. You still have a long way to go. Life is never defined by a particular failure.
- Queen: You are my wise girls, and I believe you know what I mean.
- (The Queen embraces her two daughters, and the three of them hold each other tightly, feeling the comforting warmth in this long dream.)
- (The roof of the styling venue cracks with a big hole, letting sunlight shine on them. Then the windows, walls, the stage, the audience, everything collapses into pieces.)
- (Ace looks up and sees the sky beyond walls. Although there is sunlight, more of it is shrouded in thick fog. She knows these are her sister's lost memories after Nine-Day War.)
- (She wants to dispel the gloomy fog at any cost, and restore the place to its former warmth and brightness.)
- (The bell outside the window sends sincere prayers to every corner, soothing all the lost souls.)
- (In the silent room, the silver cross in the hands of the sleeping sisters faintly glows with a soft light.)
