Interpretation[]
The items describe a girl named Eugenie, who is presumably from the Republic of Wasteland. She prays for the God of Wind to guide her way, and then falls asleep, where she has a strange dream. In the dream, an echoing voice repeatedly called her before the sun rose.
After waking up, she noticed there was a stranger on the horizon. That girl was from the Apple Federation, unlike Eugenie, and they met each other while talking about things they had encountered on the way.
When Eugenie came of age, she received a tattoo symbolizing happiness and freedom at the ceremony.
