This article compiles a timeline of events in Miraland, the setting of Love Nikki-Dress Up Queen!. The context behind each incident mentioned is listed in parentheses next to the event.

Some nations used their own calendars at some point - for example, until the New Era, Cloud's calendar began at Year 163 of the Star Era and Wasteland's calendar began hundreds of years later at Year 1006 of the Star Era.

Year 0

• The Nine-Day Dream, a period of time in which everybody in Miraland had a long dream, occurred. It took a while for people to return to their everyday lives afterwards, and many artifacts and documents were lost. World leaders held a conference and decided to start a new era. Year 300

• The Lightbringer was born with the name Verner. (Miraland Civilization Files - Page 165)

Year 332

• At the 14-day War of Heidi, the Lightbringer gave a speech about stopping the war and restoring the peace. The World War was ended and the "Golden Decade" began, a period where all military research and weapon use was banned. (Miraland Civilization Files - Page 165)

Year 342

• The Lightbringer was assassinated. His life work was lost and his descendants hid their identities. (Miraland Civilization Files - Page 165)

• Ming Shuiyuan goes to South Cloud to build the Mansion Voyage Moon, where she meets Zhu Yuxian for the first time. (4 Gods)

• The Nine-Day War occurred, and Princess Elle and Hostess L came out victorious. (Prologue Queen's Shadow)

• The Ancient Pavilion Designer passed away. (Miraland Civilization Files - Page 166)
• Xiao Zong met Zhu Yuxian, and left the Flower Field for the first time in sixty years. (Flashing Wind)

Year 675

• Lunar met Miror and defended Cloud City. (Lunar's Dreamland, Millenium Dream)
• Yvette became a student at Cicia Design School. (Yvette's Dreamland, Conventional Magic)

Year 676

• Elle inherited the throne to the Pigeon Kingdom, became Queen, and organized the Iron Rose Stylist Legion. (Prologue Queen's Shadow)
• Ming Shuiyuan became head of her clan, where she met Zhu Yuxian again. (4 Gods)

Year 677

• The Emperor of Cloud passed away, and Bai Yongxi became the leader of Cloud. (Miraland Civilization Files - Page 167)
• Louie joined the Nameless Chivalric Order after being assigned a mercenary job to steal from them. (Louie's Dreamland, Nameless Knight)

Year 678

• Yvette began to work for Prime Minister Nidhogg at the government of Lilith Kingdom. (Yvette's Dreamland, Bunny in March)
• Nidhogg attempted to contact rebels using the March Hare, but ended up giving it to Yvette instead. (Yvette's Dreamland, Bunny in March)
• Kimi graduated from Rawding Academy. (Kimi's Dreamland, Time Sparkle)

680s

Year 680

• Nikki arrived in Miraland for the first time from Earth, summoned by Queen Nanari. (Prologue Queen's Shadow)
• Prime Minister Nidhogg rebelled against Lilith Kingdom, led an attack on Cloud City, and killed Lunar. (V1: 11-9 It's a rebellion?!, 14-9 Enter the Wind Valley, V1: 15-8 Blue Bird Wail)
• Nidhogg developed a plan to steal White Blossom from the Apple Federation Apparel Group, heavily involving the use of Reid and Shade. (V1: 19-9 Battle of Dawn)
• Nikki traveled back in time 680 years to Year 0, New Era. ( SN V1: Stage 1-3, SN V1: Stage 1-4: Memories in Dream)

Contradictions

Occasionally, the story contradicts itself about when events take place.

Bright Galaxy

The dress Bright Galaxy says in its item descriptions that a young Kimi was the designer of the dress. This is mentioned again in Kimi's first Dream Weaver story. However, in Chloris' first Dream Weaver story, which occurs in the year 580, New Era, Flora also mentions wearing the dress Bright Galaxy, saying that it was put out by Apple Apparel Group and that it's the hottest dress of the summer.

This error was fixed in the Chinese version of the game, which changed the name of the dress in Chloris' first Dream Weaver to 星夜漫游 (Xīngyè mànyóu, Star Night Roaming). This dress doesn't seem to actually exist as an item or suit in the game.

Louie's Timeline

The spirit item Starry Night Goggles from Louie's first Dream Weaver story indicates that Louie left Black Water City, where the Knight of Kingdom are based, to become a mercenary when he was 14 (year 667). However, later lore released in the Sea of Trees event indicates that Louie was still a knight in Black Water City in the year 670. This error exists in the Chinese version as well. On the Wiki, the Sea of Trees lore is assumed to be correct due to it being more recent and more detailed.

War between Elves and Kindred

According to the story of the suit First Wind, Cesare was stabbed by the leader of the elves with the Dawnblade before his body was dropped in the lake. However, in Stele Sphere - War of Kindred and Elves, Cesare was stabbed with the Dark Verdict instead, and this sword stayed within him at the bottom of the lake. On the Wiki, the canon version is accepted to be the version with Dark Verdict, as the presence of the sword within Cesare was referenced several other times.

Peace in Miraland

Several sources, such as page 165 of the Miraland Civilization Files (New Calendar Edition): Miracle Nikki Official Artbook and the Brave New World event, state or imply that the Blood Curse, which enforces peace in Miraland, has been in effect for approximately three hundred years, as this is when the True King died. Before his death, he strived to bring peace to Miraland following a decades-long world war. However, in V1: 15-SS2, Sherry states that Miraland has lived in peace for six hundred years, which is longer than the Blood Curse has been in effect. It is unknown if this was an in-universe error made by Sherry, considering that much of the True King's legacy was forgotten after his death, or a continuity error. On the Wiki, the 300 years value is assumed to be correct due to it being more recent and more elaborated upon.

Foundation of the Apple Federation

In Shining Nikki, it's said that the Apple Federation gained independence from the Pigeon Kingdom several years before year 0. However, the timeline on page 165 of the book Miraland Civilization Files (New Calendar Edition): Miracle Nikki Official Artbook states that the Apple Federation escaped colonial rule in year 147, New Era.

Nikki's Time in Miraland

Though Nikki only spent one year in the year 680, some of her dialogue breaks the fourth wall and makes reference to multiple holidays spent in Miraland (multiple Christmases, multiple birthdays, etc). In events released for the second and third anniversaries of the game on the Chinese server, Nikki speaks as if she has been in Miraland for multiple years. A similar phenomenon can be seen with events released for Chinese New Year. However, this is most likely referring to the multiple years of the game Nikki "spends" with the players instead of the actual in-universe time.
