  • Hello, I recently joined this wiki and have been delighted at the cleanliness of it.

    I know that I have been here less than a day but I would like to request Content Mod status to help with clean up and moderating. I've been an admin and bureaucrat of other wikis for about 2 years, so I am trust worth.

    There are some small things here and there that I'd like to fix/ touch up. I know the normal practice is to notify a mod but I usually prefer to do it myself instead of messaging mods for various little things I come across. That's not to say this wiki is actually messy! It's just tiny little things like file names.

    Either way, I'd understand if you decline my request; respond when you can!

    • That's great to hear x3 we worked very hard for like... the past year or so now to make it what it is today. I haven't been around very much as of late but we have a lot of users still continuing to see to it that it remains that way. 

      Anyway, I don't see any harm in that. You seem to know what you're doing, and if you've had experience then that already helps with the decision. I accept the request.

    • Thank you very much! The only other thing I was going to ask is: Would it be alright to add the price of items into the infobox instead of writting it in the intro? I can edit the infobox source if yes.

    • Hey hey! Not to butt in or anything, but that'd be a pretty big format change that would require changing thousands of pages, especially given that not all items have a price and some have even had multiples over the course of the game (considering event currency, etc). I know you are content mod now (congrats and I greatly appreciate the help, especially given the state of our filenames lol), but for now it'd be best to address a major change like that kind of thing in a blog post or something similar, so that all of our vv hardworking active page editors can weigh in :D

    • I understand, I'm used to being an admin and initiating large changes and seeing to them myself (I hate burdening people with monotonous work) That's not to say I can't work with others, I'm just used to doing things by myself as most of the wikis I'm part of aren't as active as this one.

      Should it be a blog post on my own page? (I don't really use the blog thing unless for self-reminders) Is there a chat/forum/discord server for mods and admins I could propose my idea to?

    • I totally understand where you're coming from :D We do have a Discord, though it's for any editors (+ anyone else who plays the game and wants to hang out, but we have channels dedicated to the wiki). The blog posts are just under Blog:Recent posts, so it shows as being by your account by default but it's not on "your page" per se.
