Interpretation[]
The suit is about Yue Zhanming, a sword master among the young generation of the Tiger Clan. He is decisive, upright, mild and humble. He pursued his dream of becoming a world-traveling ranger but changed his mind after being enraged multiple times during his trip—even though he was a gentleman with good temper. What made him so upset is not revealed but did prompt him to stay in Cloud Empire and fight for the country. He does patrols often in order to maintain the stability, and is willing to fight for Cloud City anytime it is in need. The motivation behind this is to achieve his ambition of world peace.
He was once recommended by the martial arts to be a royal sword guard for the Cloud Empress and the country. Depending on the order, he might have declined the offer at first or been offered it after his bitter travel experiences. Either way, at some point (whether before or after) he was gifted the sword Abyss by the Empress for his valor. After watching the sea for three days in the mountain, he finally understood the will of the sword.
