Interpretation[]

Lanny is a traveler that searches for all kinds of fragrances. She is interested in the town's ceremony and wants to share her new perfume there. The theme is "Taste of Summer" and she wonders about what represents summer best. Lanny sends out paper airplanes with fragrances and upon smelling a unique aroma, she sees Kaoru holding one of her airplanes. Lanny wants to communicate with Kaoru, and when the judges can't decide who should win between the two of them, Lanny agrees to Kaoru's idea to share the grand prize, the chance to light the fireworks, together. She names her new perfume Summer Memory to commemorate the romantic friendship that started in summer.
