There is an old ginkgo tree in a mountain outside Cloud City. Its fallen intact leaves can realize dreams.

There is a family making musical instruments. They name the most exquisite one ruan after their family name.

Ruan's daughter loves to play the lute ruan. She also likes playing with ginkgos and magpies in the mountain.

One day she finds an injured man in a coma in the mountain. Although dismayed, she can't leave him alone.
