Interpretation[]
The suit tells the story of a beautiful girl, Rolin, who married a good man, Salva. The young couple was so close that they shared everything with each other, living happily. However, that happiness did not last long, for two years later after their marriage, the war broke out and their homeland was invaded. They were caught off guard, but Salva had led the people to arm themselves and fight back. While they had won battles, they did not win the war.
In the battle, Rolin had been standing just behind the frontline to maintain the grain supply, and afterwards when they finally came out victorious, people rushed into the street, singing and dancing to celebrate. Rolin rushed over to welcome the army's return, but her husband Salva was not there. When a young man saw her, he cried. Salva died in the war. Rolin managed to hold back her emotion and took over the sword that belonged to her husband.
Even if the loss was heart-wrenching, Rolin was strong like the yellow flowers: "No matter how hard the storm is, they always stand firmly" is the simile used in Beautiful Soul. She buried the emotion deeply in her heart. Years passed and she lived alone quietly. Now in the future—beside the road in the village—tiny flowers bud and the kids (which might be theirs) have grown up.
