Interpretation[]

Rose Oath introduces us to a world facing a calamity. Taking place during night, a war is raging on. The war has entered a deadlock and the character of Rose Oath was at the brink of Death. It is unclear what exactly killed her, but descriptions of fire is present in the suit. Regardless, as the nightmare encroaches in the darkness, she remains persistent to her faith and gives up up on hesitation to find a way out: she sold her soul to a contract by a dragon. Turning sorrow into strength, she rebirths and cleaves her way out of the thorns and vines holding her back.

As daybreak comes and the morning bells toll, she cleaves the thick fog; her sword shining a dangerously silver light. The battle horn is blowing and she swept the battlefield like a wind, invincible and unstoppable. As sorrow hovers in the cold win, she honored the dead by fulfilling the glory they tried to reach. Even if the stars in the sky lost their colors to her, she is now the light that dispels darkness.

As she was granted life back again, she realized: was she a pawn or a king? Together with the description of her piercing the false lies and waking up to her true ego, this can be interpreted as a form of enlightenment. In the end of it all, her name may have been long forgotten, but her flower will always be remembered.

There are (likely unintentional) parallels between Rose Oath and Dragon Knight: they share a common theme in design (knights in red roses/blue roses), as well as in lore potentially (a commander in war and a dragon fighting with the humans). However, due to the lack of context Rose Oath provides and the fact that Dragon Knight's story is only a legend, this is only an observation on parallels between the suit.
