Interpretation[]
Redeemed Goddess tells the story of a Goddess who fell in love with the god of the sea. However, due to unknown circumstances, they couldn't be together, and since then, she has been cursing lovers in the world for thousands of years. Resentment had blinded her eyes and hatred had possessed her heart, manifesting into vile serpents around her. She was the Goddess of Vengeance, dwelling at the world's end where dark clouds enveloped.
Countless of men had walked into her palace for thousands of years to win her affection, but she petrified all of them. One day though, a new visitor came. It was a young hero who came to challenge her as proof of his worth to marry a princess. The Goddess was not interested in a mortal's challenge, but his face reminded her of the moment she fell in love for the sea god. She was distracted for a second, and that proved to be a fatal mistake on her part, because the hero had avoided her eyes and pierced her chest with his lance.
