Interpretation[]
Nolwenn, born into a marionette mage family, loses her parents and happiness to war. Left with only a family magic book and her marionette, Luna, she wanders until she reaches Cicia. She bonds with the city's community of impoverished artists and stays, hoping for peace.
When bandits attack one day, she controls Luna with attack power to defend the city. This causes her to realize both the power inherent in her magical gift. In the face of war arriving in Cicia, Nolwenn tirelessly fights to protect the city, using Luna's magic to repel invaders countless times, waiting for reinforcements to arrive. In battle, she hopes for a bright future despite the misery she has endured, but she also faces a choice - a forbidden dark magic spell in her family's magic book, promising immense power to fight back at the cost of her life.
