Interpretation
Ocean Lullaby is about Relly, a mute little girl born by the blue sea of the wind and seagulls. The birds sang clearly and the waves crashed onto the beach; the world was so vivid but to the girl, her life was completely silent.
There lived a witch on an aloft cliff who knew all the secrets, and thus, across the tranquil coast, the girl ascended the high cliff to seek the weird witch. The witch told her about the treasure of the sea which was hidden deep at its bottom, beyond everyone's reach. It was a riddle of the sea world, which let people hear the most beautiful sound. The witch gave Relly a pearl which shone like the moonlight. It allowed her to breathe underwater. Thus, she jumped into the sea without hesitation, where a giant scroll painting was unfolded.
The sea was like a big clear gem; schools of fish swam by with their scales shining brightly. Somewhere in the coral castle, a pink baby narwhal (named Dolly) was caught by the seaweed, struggling painfully. Relly helped the little whale out, who kissed her hand afterwards. They played happily in the blue water. As she listened to the heavenly song of the narwhal, she forgot all her troubles.
The underwater world was dreamy and the light no longer felt lonely with friends around. She saw a blue purer than the sky, and the sea horses formed patterns like constellations. Dolly took the girl across the volcano on the bottom. The warmth there was unique until finally, they reached the deepest part. But the girl heard the Dolly's and a sudden black vortex separated the two.
Relly lost consciousness, but she seemed to hear the whale's cry. When she was woken up by the dazzling light, she heard the call of the seagulls and felt the warm sand grains. She was confused: the witch's pearl was gone and Relly only remembered the black vortex and sound of a cry. The young girl stood on the sunny beach, looking into the rippling water, but could not remember why she was here. She was so confused that she whispered to herself before the sea, in which she realized she was talking! The sound of her own voice was so beautiful and clear like the moonlight in a dreamland. She could hear everything loud and pure. Every sound in the world was unique. Like reaching the top of the rainbow, the miracle brought new colors into the girl's world.

The fresh sea wind had blurred her memory; the adventure she went on felt unreal like a dream. But in every lonely night, Relly would remember what she and Dolly experienced. As the happiness dispersed, she decided to return and pay her friend a visit, so she went to the witch again and asked for another pearl. However, the witch made her demand: that Relly would climb onto the cliff and collect the crooked vines she wanted. Thus, for an entire month, Relly's hands were bathed in blood from the thorns. But she returned to the sea—the memories flooding in like the water, dazzling and mysterious like before.
The sea bottom was as peaceful as before. However, she couldn't hear the heavenly voice. She happily searched for it in every corner, but she still couldn't find it. Until finally, in the corner in the coral castle, she spotted the pink tail fin. However, it was silent, and Dolly looked different. Her old friend had lost its precious voice. It could only rub her hand intimately. She understood now what the secret treasure was. It was the voice of the little narwhal. Relly held Dolly tight and they both cried. Relly's tears turned into bubbles circling the corals.
She made a final deal with the witch. She would give the voice back to Dolly at the cost of staying underwater forever. Thus, she disappeared and nobody knew where the girl went. But legend goes that in every moonligt night, the sea sings heavenly songs.
