Lore
Item Descriptions
To a traveler, the whole world is the home. When the hair turns grey, how about going fishing from dawn till dusk?
– Frosty White Hair
The girl born in the wealthy Bai House is weary of luxury. She only wants to live a reclusive and carefree life.
– Weary of Luxury
Later, word goes that if you are lucky, under the setting sun, you may have a chance to see the White Goddess.

After fishing, she went home. Outside the curtain are green hills wrapped by clear waters in the hazy mist.

Many touching stories happen by the water in Cloud Empire. Did anyone pick up the white feather by the lake?

At dusk, she went back accompanied by several egrets. The place she used to go fishing is later called Egret Shoal.

She saved an injured egret and cured its wound. When she returns from fishing, it always follows her in the sky.
– Egrets in Sunset
She was last seen floating on a boat accompanied by a bird. Thereafter, she travels to all the rivers and seas.
– Beauty on the Boat
Years pass by, she has always been seen angling on the river with an unaged face. Rumor goes that she's a goddess.

As the white egret combs its feathers, she talks with the bird. The bird looks at her and then catches a fish back.

Wearing a veil, she sees nothing more than ripples but when she listens carefully, there is a lively world outside.

Her life was a succession of leisurely fishing, enjoying the setting sun and going along the river on the boat.

The celestial egret often calls up friends to accompany her. In the mist, they are like angling friends.

She chatted with the tourist happily but when he asked if they would meet again, she said, 'We never know.'
