Hi Fedora Roe, thanks for all your help making item pages! I just wanted to let you know that some of your most recent pages have listed the wrong method of achievement. For the suit Elegant Tune, it is available through achievements rather than through a recharge. You can double check how to get an item by checking the method of achievement in the game, and it will tell you the exact achievement when you click "how to gain" (even if you've already claimed the achievement). It would also be appreciated if you don't give any items nation categories (like Cloud Empire, Cloud Empire Suits, Festivals Suit, etc) as those categories are reserved for suits or other content. Thank you!
Hi Fedora Roe! Thanks for making item pages~ I just wanted to make sure you knew to add categories to pages, it's important for our organizational purposes to make sure every item has the proper categories! Here's a link with explanations of which categories go to which pages: Love Nikki-Dress UP Queen! Wiki:Format Guide/Items#Categories If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
Hi! You've done excellent work but I just want to remind you to please add categories when you create new pages. Not adding them causes backtracking and more work for us. Also, under the Gallery Suit header, when you add an item that's part of a suit with an alternative pose, please list the alternative parts too (see this part of the item guide or Summer of Secret Love for reference). We'd really appreciate it if you could do that! If you're unsure about anything you can always ask us :D
I see you got the categories, by the alternative parts basically we mean by when the suit has two versions, make sure to list the parts of both versions. For example, in the page Kyara linked, there are two paragraphs listing items:
The other parts of this suit are Treasured Smile, Paper Plane Book, Sky Impression, Youthful Emakimono, Marguerite, Heart-shaped Sealing Wax and Skyward.
There is an alternate version to this suit. It contains Valentine's Day Memory, The Original Dream, Multicolored Blue Sky and Skyward.
That second one is what we mean! :D They're all listed on the suit pages so it should be pretty straightforward to add~ thank you again!
Hey Fedora Roe, I just wanted to thank you again for all your hard work making item pages :D It's a huge help for us! There's just a few things that would be super important to add when you make the pages, so that we don't have to go back and put them in afterwards for you.
That last paragraph has every piece of the alternative version, so you don't have to change it for every item of the main version.
A few more categories
You've been doing a great job with categories so far but there's just a few more that would help! For any accessory that falls under the "Special" category ingame, make sure to add the Special category, and for any animated (gold hearts) item, make sure to add the Animated category!
For image management purposes, we also have a few categories regarding the image status of the items:
No image - I know you know about this category (and thanks for adding all the images!), but the category needs to be removed after a page gets an image~ I'm not sure which editor you use, but for the classic editor, there should be a trash can button on the right sidebar while editing.
Needs HQ image - This category is for anything like a screenshot from the game with the pink background and such, if you upload an image like that, the page for the item should get this category!
I know that's a lot but I just want to re-emphasize how grateful we are that you're making item pages <3 Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about any of it!
Hey, you're not in trouble or anything, but this is a reminder about the new pages you are making.
Please add images to the pages you make, as they are a big part of our pages. They add that final touch to a page.
If you don't know how, here's how you can do it: just get your phone (or tablet) and go to the wardrobe, search for the item, and then click on it. Then, set the brightness to the maximum and take a screenshot. Then all you need to do is email it to yourself (enter To: *your email* From: *Your email*.) and crop it (you can use Pixlr.com/editor like I do, which is a free website, or even MS Paint). If possible, also try make the image png (this is something you can do on Pixlr, but you don't have to do it).
Edit: Just realized you have a discussion post on how to add images, so I think the trouble for you is using them on the page, not taking them. This is simple as well. first, go to https://lovenikki.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Upload (just copy that into a new tab), and then press "Choose File", and find the image of the item you have and double click it. Its file name and an image of it will then appear. Next, scroll down, and (optional) untick watch this file. Then press the big blue button that says "Upload File". After this process is done, go to the page of the image you just uploaded, and click on the Clothign template to the Image part (Second option). Then write in the File name, always starting with File:
So, for example; File:Nikki_Haste-Brown.png (or .jpg if the image is a jpg file). You need to use the exact name of the file, as it's very case sensitive.
