Interpretation[]

The suit describes a story talked about by Cloud children and spread through spring wind. The story is about a girl named Qing Yu, whose father wants her to "make her clan great again" by designing clothes. She has a lover, Zixi, but a locked wall separates them. Instead, they fly string-less kites over the wall with their thoughts to communicate. Zixi does not care about fame, saying "it's just boring".`The final kite Qing Yu receives states that he will be back one day, but she never receives any more kites.

In the recolor, Zixi is defeating retro Cloud stylists in the second year of the styling contest. He refuses to work for the king and instead travels around the world, showing his refreshing style. Meanwhile, Qing Yu can finally show her first style to her father, inspired by her first meet with Zixi. Her style shows the clan's downfall and its fame in an ostentatious yet simple and elegant style. Her father finally understands, and they go on a trip during the Shangsi Festival. She and her father listen to a flute melody from the forest; she says goodbye to her father, riding water buffalo into the forest. From the on, a new couple lived in Cloud; they rode water buffalo out in spring and helped others with styling.

Bai Jinjin hopes with all her heart that Zhong Lizi can be accepted by his clan, just like Zixi.
