Gifty Event

Gifty events are reoccurring events where the player needs to find the Giftys that appear on the maps of Journey chapters 1–11 and perform an action to help them. Each time the player helps, small rewards can be gained in return, and performing the action a specific number of times unlocks pieces of the event suit.

This event can be broken into two types — "Seek Gifty", where players feed Giftys, and "Lantern Festival", where players light their lanterns. Lantern Festival events are themed around the Chinese Lantern Festival, and Seek Gifty events are themed after various other festivals. Though the two event types are functionally identical, each type comes with different sprites and dialogue.
