Interpretation[]
On top of Yuling Mountain, a sentient jade stone became a bird named Yuluan who guarded the mountain for centuries. One day, a man named Xiyu came up the mountain. For seven years, he crafted a jade ornament, Xilan, with Yuluan keeping him company. However, the ornament still lacked an ingredient to be completed. Yuluan gave up her spiritual energy for the ornament, completing the work and sealing her demise. Xiyu placed the ornament on the dying Yuluan's neck and the two become phoenixes hovering above the mountain.
