Interpretation[]
The suit tells the story of a mermaid from the Pigeon sea who falls in love with a noble young man in Apple Federal. She becomes a human, but at great cost: she must suffer the pain of feeling a diamond cut her tail forever. However, she gains feet and becomes an elegant lady in Apple. Though it is painful, she feels it is absolutely worth it in order to be with her love. Nobody knows her secret, though, they find her beautiful.
The story is similar to that of The Little Mermaid, a fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson. Both the little mermaid and Diamond Mermaid become humans, but feel excruciating, stabbing pain when they walk.
