Item Descriptions[]
A lively creature was born in the dead sea. She was the brightest color in the soundless ocean.
— Cloud Resplendence
She swam between corals and broken walls, hoping to find remnants of a civilization that proved the forgotten legend.
— Sunlit Yearning
In the chapter about the Lost Kingdom, there was a short story about a girl who wasn't a resident of Aram.
— Lucid Ocean
Coraline was her name, a sea creature who fell in love with a human which was bound to end up as a tragedy.
— Lingering Oath
Finally, she reached Aram in its slumber. Her tireless search for a way to awaken Aram turned fruitless.
— Moonlit Tide
The man grew old as his youthful face started to wrinkle, but he returned to the shore every day without fail.

She returned and told the man she had found Aram. He was beyond excited, listening intently to her story.
— Swirling Surge
Fascinated by the legend, Coraline began searching for Aram, as she could easily explore where no man ventured.
— Bejeweled Ride
As promised, Coraline would ride the tide at dusk and meet with the man near reefs where no one could see them.
— Luminous Pearl
Coraline wiped the stone clean and wished for the prophecy to come true that mermaids could live among humans.
— Lucent Chapter
Rivers coursed through Aram, where sea creatures swam freely within, and mermaids lived among humans.
— Temporal Grandeur
The man smiled and turned to Coraline. If the prophecy was true, maybe they could have a happy ending after all.
— Starlit Nocturne
One day, the man didn't show up. Coraline trudged to his house and realized he had reached the end of his life.
— Ephemeral Sunlight Splendor
Coraline returned to the ruins of Aram after the man died. She became its guardian and watched over the Lost Kingdom.
— Distant Thoughts
The human had a wonderful voice and told Coraline that there was an ancient kingdom called Aram in the distant sea.
— Lucent Rhyme
Interpretation[]
In a chapter of a book about the Lost Kingdom lies the story of Coraline, a vibrant mermaid, and her tragic love story with a human man. The man tells her of the ancient kingdom of Aram, where humans and mermaids once proposedly coexisted in harmony. Every evening they would meet in secret near surface reefs, sharing excitement at the prospect of finding Aram. Coraline searches for it with hope, even as the man begins to succumb to human age over the years. One day, she finds the ruins of Aram, but with no way to revive it to its former state. The man never shows up to his meeting with Coraline one evening, and she discovers he has passed away from old age. She returns to the ruins of Aram, becoming its guardian in hopes of fulfilling the prophecy that one day, mermaids and humans can live together.
