Beside the white marble sculptures, people wearing dresses and gorgeous masks file into the special masquerade magic ball.

Along with the invitation is a masquerade that hides attendee's face. Many use false identities for vanity reasons.
— Disguise Scam
Suddenly, the ballroom goes dark. Amid the exclamation, the stage is illuminated. The host in masquerade appears on stage.

'Welcome to the ball', said the girl in masquerade, 'Anyone who gets this card will be the lucky one to have this villa.'

With cards thrown up into the air, the crowds get excited. They forget about decency and snatch the cards ruthlessly.

The masks are gone. The rich gentleman is in fact a stingy man; the prince of the neighboring country is a student.

Finally, someone gets the card. He yells excitedly, unaware he triggers the magic. The dance floor is illuminated again.

Looking at the audience wanting to rush to the stage and swinging their fists at her, the girl takes off her mask and smiles.

The light doesn't come from lamps, but from different forms of masks. It turns out that they are all in disguise.
