It's a good day today. Neko Jiro is washing its face and Assitant is making parfait, time for the next story.
– Cat and Writer
Cat and Writer is about a writer who had been holed up at home for quite some time. According to himself, that was the reason why there was dust on his umbrella; it wasn't because there was no rain. Regardless, while he was playing with his cat, Neko Jiro, his cute assistant slash editor urged him to go back to work. He merely responded with a "soon" but she wouldn't have any of that, telling him (politely) to start working. She then proceeded to take Neko Jiro away from his hands.
He considered it to be a good day: Neko Jiro was washing its face and the Assistant was making parfait, which she served to him whenever he ran out of ideas. It was time for the next story, though he face-palmed when he took out the scripts; he had gone through more than half of them. All he needed was an impressing ending. Meanwhile, Neko Jiro was playing with a ball of yarn like crazy. It made him wish that he could be just as energetic as it was. He eventually found his flow and when he was fully focused on writing, time flies; he found out that it was already sunset by the time he finished the story. He gave the manuscripts of the last chapter to his assistant, and much to his joy, she seemed to like it. Though he saw himself as a humble writer, he considered himself a bestseller if Miss Assistant liked his story.
