At the Piero Theatre, Cali tells Nikki and Momo that the Phantom Thief's warning letter in the museum was a fake [sic]
Dialogue[]
- Welcome to Piero Theatre
- Nikki: Cali, we are here. On the full moon night, nothing happened at the museum!
- Momo: That's right. What on earth is going on?
- Cali: Just as I expected! Look what I've got here.
- (Cali holds a small card. On one side is a fine pattern and on the other is a message written in beautiful cursive letters: Tonight at 8, I will be taking the Tear of Adelina.)
- Nikki: Is this... a letter from the phantom thief?!
- Cali: Yes. This was the letter sent by the phantom thief before the crime at Piero Theatre. It took me some effort to get it.
- Momo: Is this the information you talked of?
- Cali: This is just a part of it. I saw the letter sent by the phantom thief when I interviewed the museum. They did look similar. But look closely and you can tell one is fake.
- Momo: What? Someone is pretending to be the phantom thief?
- Nikki: Maybe they are trying to frame the phantom thief, right?
- Cali: A thief who doesn't dare to show his real name won't have the guts to steal the work?
- Momo: So it's just someone's prank...
- Nikki: But the real letter proves that the phantom thief indeed exists, right?
- Cali: Yes, as a reporter who loves to go after the truth, I swear I will find out who the phantom thief is!
