Trivia
Byzantium was an ancient Greek city, founded in 667 BC. Later on, it attracted the attention of the Roman Emperor Constantine, and was renamed Constantinople in his honor in about 330 A.D. The Turks took it over in 1453 and gave it the name it is known by today, Istanbul.
