Interpretation[]
The suit is about the evenings Ming Shuiyuan and Zhu Yuxian spent together in South Cloud. As they traversed the Flower Field, Zhu Yuxian would play the flute; as night fell, the butterflies went to sleep. The descriptions have a melancholy, dreamy feel to them.
