The Gods used to bless the ancient town with wind and rain. Lately, the town lack rain and grain no longer grew.

Every fifth day of the fifth month, the river is full of boats racing like dragons swimming as people pray for rain.

A green pavilion suddenly appears as young Xiaoxiang was collection bamboo leaves for her dumplings in the forest.

Yu Xiu owns the bamboo forest. Xiaoxiang gives him dumplings as thanks for the leaves as he plays the flute for her.
— Silent Shadow
Xiaoxiang tells Yu Xiu people pray for rain during the festival. He laughs and says the gods are getting weaker.

The flute song accompanies the water as Xiaoxiang invites Yu Xiu to the boat race but he will be traveling far away.

Yu Xiu finally appears in town during the Dragon Boat Festival. After a long drought, clouds suddenly gathers.

The Dragon God receives dumplings as gifts. Xiaoxiang's dumplings were famous, even Yu Xiu has praise for them.

The dragon's form is hidden among the thunder, lightning, and heavy rain. Everyone is happy but Yu Xiu is missing.

Xiaoxiang helped the villagers build a canal and deal with natural disasters on their own as the gods had intended.

Only a letter was left, 'All I could do was temporarily restore the gods power with the dragon boat dedication.'
