Description

Apple's Government seems basically similar to the government of America. It is run by a president, who is elected democratically. There is also a congress, which cannot be bypassed by the president.

Army

The army functions under the Apple Government, and senior commanders of the army, such as Orlando, have benefits such as diplomatic tokens that grant them certain powers.

Soldiers are trained for at least three years at the Apple Federal Military Academy, with graduation occurring at age 18. The Academy has 16 teaching buildings, and teaches subjects such as military academics, styling, and history to cadets. There is also a final mission for graduating students, in which one can win the title of 'Immortal Glory'.

History

Year 680

After the League Tyr broke away from the North Kingdom and attacked Cloud City, a war broke out between the nations of Miraland. Going against the public's expectations, Reid of Mercury Group chose to ally with the League Tyr and Nidhogg. The Mercury Group was also one of the Apple President's biggest supporters, so because Reid was allied with League Tyr, the President met with another rebelling commander with League Tyr named Verdfare.

Though the Apple Federation was never officially allied with League Tyr, the Apple Federation Army joined forces with the League Tyr against the Cloud Empire. These actions damaged the trust between the Apple Federation and the other nations that opposed the League Tyr: Cloud, Lilith, and the rest of North Kingdom, including the Knight of Kingdom.

Due to the tense and uncertain relationship between the Apple Federation and the King of North, Chairman Schiller of the Apple Apparel Group was unable to return home from the King's Army's headquarters in Black Water City, North. Schiller's daughter, Kimi, met with various government officials in order to see what could be done, at Orlando's advice.

Mr. Baird, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, told her that they were too busy repairing ties with Lilith and Cloud to send someone to the North. However, when Kimi expressed interest in going herself as a diplomat, Baird helped Kimi set up the trip and accompanied her. While she was there, she successfully and peacefully met with Nidhogg as a diplomat on behalf of the Apple Federation.

• With the Apple Federation being founded in Year 147 and their 42nd president being elected in Year 452, the average term length for each president prior to that is ~7.2 years. If this average were to continue to the year 680, Kimi (the president elected in 680) would be the 73rd or 74th president of Apple.
